The Service

The Right Finish,
Every Time

A concrete slab is the foundation everything is built on — so we make sure it’s done right from day one. Paths and paved areas are no different. Whether it’s a pool surround, an entertaining space or a side access way, every surface we form gets the same attention to falls, finish and detail.

We work closely with builders, landscapers, pool builders and project managers across the Peninsula — or deal direct with homeowners from quote through to completion.

Surface Types We Pour

Garden Paths & Walkways

Entry paths, garden walkways and side access ways formed to the right width, falls and finish — practical, durable and a genuine improvement to how your property presents.

Pool Surrounds

Slip-resistant finishes, correct drainage falls away from the pool and seamless joins to coping. We work closely with pool builders and landscapers to get the sequencing right.

Entertaining Areas

Outdoor living spaces that tie the home to the landscape. We form entertaining slabs to level, with the right falls and a finish that works with your outdoor furniture and landscaping design.

FAQs

Common Questions

Exposed aggregate is the most popular choice for pool surrounds on the Peninsula — it’s naturally slip-resistant, handles chlorine and saltwater well, and looks great alongside landscaping. We can also pour a broomed or sandblasted finish if a more subtle look is preferred.

All our paths and paved areas are formed with a minimum 1:100 fall away from any structure. We set formwork to the correct level and check falls before the pour. Drainage is something we factor in from the quoting stage, not an afterthought.

In many cases, yes — particularly for plain and broomed finishes. Exposed aggregate can be closely matched if we know the original stone blend. We’ll assess the existing surface at the quoting stage and let you know what’s achievable.

Yes, this is very common. We’re experienced at coordinating with landscapers, pool builders and project managers to get the sequencing right. We’re happy to liaise directly with your other trades.
