The Service

A Driveway Built To Last

Your driveway is one of the hardest-working surfaces on your property. We bring the same rigour to every driveway pour that we bring to structural slabs — proper sub-base preparation, correct reinforcement, and a finish that holds up under load and looks great doing it.

We work closely with builders, landscapers and project managers across the Peninsula, or deal direct with homeowners from quote through to completion.

Driveway Finishes

Plain Concrete

Clean, broomed or smooth finish — the most durable and cost-effective option. Suits contemporary homes and commercial properties alike, and performs exceptionally with proper preparation.

Exposed Aggregate

Stone and pebble blends washed to a consistent depth and sealed for long-term protection. Slip-resistant, visually striking and by far the most popular finish on the Peninsula.

Stencilled & Patterned

Colour-through concrete pressed with pattern stencils to achieve the look of pavers or stone — a great way to add character and kerb appeal at a fraction of the cost.

Crossovers

Council-compliant crossover construction from the road to your property boundary. We handle the specifications and documentation so the process is straightforward from start to finish.

FAQs

Common Questions

Residential driveways are typically poured at 100mm with SL72 mesh reinforcement. For heavy vehicle access or commercial use we recommend 125mm with SL82 mesh. We’ll specify the right thickness at the quoting stage based on your vehicle loads and site conditions.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 7 days before light vehicle traffic and 28 days before heavy vehicles. Concrete reaches around 70% of its design strength at 7 days and full strength at 28 days.
Exposed aggregate is by far the most popular choice on the Peninsula — it’s slip-resistant, handles the coastal environment beautifully and holds up exceptionally well over time. Plain concrete is the most economical option and still performs excellently with proper preparation.
Yes. We’re familiar with the crossover requirements for councils across the Peninsula and Bayside and can prepare the documentation needed for approval.
